O frabjous day! I just learned that the film, "The Real Dirt on Farmer John," is coming to San Francisco on Saturday, June 4, as part of the Green Screen U.S. World Environment Day Film Festival from June 1-5.
Details here: it's part of the Slow Food Day co-sponsored by the Slow Food Movement. Former Vice President Al Gore (!) will introduce the film, and tickets are priced at $8 and $10 for the Castro Theater in San Francisco.
Go. Just go. (If you're new to my blog, I wrote about it a week or so ago. Just scroll down to read more.)
I enjoyed the film a lot! I hope you do to. What was really interesting in the Q&A with the filmmaker and with Farmer John was that many San Franciscans didn't understand the CSA concept. And here I thought we were preaching to the choir!
