Chris (far left) grows olives and cut flowers. The olives pick up the sweetness of the air around the flowers, and go into her award-winning Olio del Le Colline di Santa Cruz (olive oil). Ron (foreground) is a dairy farmer, and runs Claravale Farm, one of two raw milk dairies in California. He made some mozzarella for this event that is better than any I've ever had, including my two weeks in Italy.
